Your work-life balance needs depend on where you are in your personal and professional life; your needs change as you go through life.  Understanding those needs and aligning them to, not only your personal career goals, but also the needs of your organization can be complicated both short and long term.   This program helps to bring clarity around what you need and what is realistic, along with an action plan to achieve your work-life balance goals.  

Learning Outcomes: As a result of this program, participants will…

  • Identify and evaluate personal and professional demands, personal and professional goals, and the level of personal importance of each one.  
  • Understand and be able to communicate how to advocate for one’s personal goals and commitments in one’s professional life.
  • Understand and be able to communicate how to advocate for one’s professional goals and commitments in one’s personal life.
  • Identify and understand personal and professional limits and how to maintain one’s own “balance” between the two.

The course in total, takes roughly 2 hours to complete.  Participants are given access to all course materials and reflection assignments through our online learning management system.  There are no educational prerequisites to take the course and participants have access to materials for 3 months from first log-in date.
