As the Outplacement Director for The Center for Leadership Excellence, Shannon brings more than 30 years of in-depth experience in training, professional development and professional coaching to the Firm. The prior organizations for which she worked include a Fortune 500 company, a not-for-profit and a small-to middle market company which affords her the ability to see things from many different perspectives. Within those organizations, she has supported associates from the individual contributor level through and including the executive level. Shannon has held a variety of leadership positions and been responsible for creating new divisions within organizations in order to best serve the professional growth of the associates and in turn, to minimize turnover and positively impact the bottom line.
Having been on both sides of the fence as it relates to outplacement, Shannon knows firsthand how to best support the organization (the HR department, the Executives and the Managers) during the process. Additionally, she can personally relate to the individuals that are in the midst of a job transition thus, the perfect person to make the experience a positive one for all involved.
Being a personal career coach comes naturally for Shannon as she genuinely wants to each person with whom she works not just “find a job” but instead, find an opportunity that “checks all the boxes” working with them along the way to uncover what that is and then how to go about making it happen. She currently holds certifications for Strategic Human resources Business Partner, Reality-Based Leadership, Crucial Conversations Trainer, Crucial Accountability Trainer and a Master Certification: Reality-Based Philosophy, Hardwiring Accountability and Business readiness.
